How to Improve Public Speaking Skills?

Public speaking skills can be a hassle if you are insecure or introvert. However, a little bit of a practice and a little boost of confidence can heal the problem that many have when it comes to public speaking.


STEPS

(1) Be well prepared. 

Practice your speech in front of the mirror and bring little notes with you just in case. After all, it's better to have to look down at your paper quickly rather than stand there completely tongue-tied.


(2) Before you begin, breathe deeply.

 It isn't as hard as it seems. Take a deep breath.


(3) Organize your thoughts, and draw a mental picture of what comes after what.

You will stutter if you run out of things to say, so it's important to have a mental outline. You can practice drawing up forms of your speech or remembering the order of your topics at home.


(4) Be sure to make a thesis or to have a point.

 There's nothing worse than getting nervous about a speech that wasn't worth it.


(5) Start your speech by making that point, and then give a brief outline of your examples and other evidences that you plan to use to prove your thesis.Sometimes a bit of comedy can help settle the nerves. Be creative!


(6) Slowly, visualize your examples and tell them one by one. Don't be afraid to add more examples on the go or add little details, since they make your presentation much more personal. Make sure to walk around a little- but not too much, look your audience in the eye, and use facial and hand expressions. Speeches get very boring very fast if you stand in front of people like a deer in headlights.


(7) Have fun, and be ready to answer questions. You can do it!

THE FOUR COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Definition Of Communication:

Our brains do not think in words... they think in symbols. Because of this a person can be fluent in multiple languages, and they do not think in one language and translate into another. They actually think symbolically and then convert the symbolic thoughts into the appropriate language.

Therefore, effective communication is accurately transmitting the symbolic concepts in your brain to the brain of another person or persons.

Communication is not effective if you only transmit your ideas. In order to have effective communication, the other person(s) must receive and interpret them as you intended.

Communication skills (or the lack of communication skills) can have a large impact on your success in both your business and personal life. Communication skills learned at an early age will provide you with the skills that you need to interact successfully with a wide variety of people and situations, while a lack of communication skills will make it more difficult for you to get what you want out of life.

Here are the four major communication skills and how they impact your ability to communicate effectively.

Communication Skill #1 - Thinking
You may not recognize thinking as being a communication skill, but having a clear idea of symbolic internal reality you want to convey to another person or group of people is the beginning of effective communication.

If you don’t have the idea straight in your own mind, don’t be surprised if others get a different idea from your communication than what you thought you intended to say.

Communication Skill #2 – Listening
Effective listening allows you to enter the reality of the other person and understand what their internal symbolic reality is. Only when you do this are you able to communicate effectively by understanding what they are sharing with you, even if it is very different from your personal perspective.

You can’t truly communicate with someone else of you don’t understand their internal reality.

Communication Skill #3 – Speaking
The third communication skill that leads to effective communication is your selection of words and the voice tones that you use when you speak them. While this may the part that most people concentrate on, research has revealed that nonverbal communication has more impact than the actual words that you use. In fact, the nonverbal portion of the communication can actually change the meaning of the words that you say.

Communication Skill #4 – Nonverbal Communication
Nonverbal communication is the communication skill that usually receives little thought because it happens automatically. We actually learn to communicate nonverbally at a very young age ( a baby crying) and are able to communicate quite effectively using only nonverbal communication.

How to make a USB Drive Bootable to Install Any PC Operating System. (WINDOWS)

1 Open the Command Prompt. 

You will need to run Command Prompt as an Administrator. Right-click on it and select Run as Administrator. You may need to enter the Administrator password.
This method will create a USB drive that is bootable. You can then copy the contents of an operating installation disc onto the drive to create a portable installation drive.
This method only works in Windows Vista, 7, and 8.

2 Open the disk management utility. 

This can be opened by entering the command  diskpart in the RUN from satrtmenu.

3 Display the connected disks.

Type the command list disk to show a list of all the drives connected to your computer. Your USB drive should be listed here as well. Make note of the number next to your USB drive.

4Select the USB drive. 

Enter the command select disk #, replace “#” with the number from the previous step.

5 Clean the flash drive. 

Enter the command clean to have the disk management utility verify the integrity of the USB drive, and erase all data.

6 Create a bootable partition.

 Once the USB drive is clean, type in create partition primary. You will see a message saying that the operation was successful.

7 Select the new partition. 

Enter the command select partition 1 and press Enter. Once you receive a confirmation message, type active and press Enter. This will activate the partition.

8 Format the USB drive. Input the command format fs=fat32. When you press Enter, the program will work for a few minutes (if it is a small USB, e.g. 32Gb could actually take hours to SLOW format), and the progress will be displayed as a percentage.

9 Assign the USB a drive letter.

 Enter the command assign to give the thumb drive a letter designation. Type exit to end the disk management program.

10 Copy the operating system. 

Once the USB drive has been made bootable, you can copy over the installation files for the operating system you want to install. You can do this by dragging and dropping using your preferred file manager/explorer.
Copy over any drivers you might need during the operating system installation to make the process much smoother.

Now Click on Edit of Secure Browsing.
Check the Field 'Browse Facebook on a secure connection (https) when possible'.
Click on Save Changes.
Now Secure Browsing of your FaceBook Account is Enabled.
Now Check your Address Bar you will see Https:// instead of http://(which was default protocol).
Now For Enabling Login Notifications Click on Edit of Login Notifications.

Now Select your option How you want to get notified. Either by Email or Text messages on mobile or both.

When you select Text message/Push Notification you will see a window Regarding Entering your mobile number( you can asked to enter your password again and If you had already registered your mobile number with Facebook then you may not be asked to Enter mobile Number Skip steps 15 and 16 if you don't have to Enter mobile number).
You will receive a confirmation code on your mobile as text message.
Enter that code in Enter Confirmation code field And Click on Confirm.
Now Click on save Changes.
Now your Secure Browsing and Login Notifications are Enabled.

You are much secure now :)
